A Little Bit About Us
Brian has always been a creative person, throughout his building career. He has turned that talent into working with Pounamu, New Zealand Greenstone.
A gardener and florist by trade, flowers are Meg's passion. This theme runs through her mixed media paintings. We have a cottage picking garden from which she makes posies for the gallery.
OUR STORY
We are lucky to be able to work with New Zealand green stone, following on with the family business started by Megs Parents Don and Mona Brooker.
Mona was a renowned green stone carver throughout the 70s and 80s and beyond, she was my teacher and mentor. It is now my pleasure to create beautiful pieces.
Meg's happy place is her garden, we have a cottage garden and from this she picks for her posies. Flowers also inspire her art work which is mainly Mixed Media.
